Image: Spear E047399-008 (front)
This miniature wooden spear is from the Peak Hill region of Central West New South Wales. It is carved from a single piece of wood, with a straight handle and barbed head. The spear is one of eight miniature weapons supposedly made by a local Aboriginal boy from the Bogan River area, Peak Hill. It was donated to the Australian Museum by Mr George Smith.
