Spangled Perch, Leiopotherapon unicolor

A juvenile Spangled Perch caught in a water hole opposite a treated coal seam water outlet, Bohena Creek in the Pilliga Bohena State Forest near Narrabri, New South Wales, 6 March 2012. The specimen was floating on the surface and gasping for breath when found.
