Image: Sheldon cleaning study skins
Sheldon examines a number of Birds of Paradise study skins for any damage. These colourful specimens will be part of an upcoming exhibition at the Museum. The specimens are given a gentle brush to realign some of the feathers. Many of these Birds of Paradise have very delicate modified feathers or wires, like this one.
