Web2spider Identification Guide. Web type 12 - orb web.

  • Large juvenile females may be red or yellow, but as they mature they become fawn coloured to match the debris in the web.
  • Egg sacs are later added across the missing sector of the web.
  • Several webs are often found in the same area.

Hi, We have a spider like this in Busselton WA and my friends in Albany WA also have a colony of them. I've lived in WA for a lot of my life and have never seen them until just recently. Are they that common over here or have they just transported well?
