Reinforcing egg shells from the diorama

Mock up broken egg shells were used to test a range of reinforcing films to strengthen cracks and losses in the shell.  Japanese tissue and conservation grade PVA strips were prepared, inserted and adhered to the interior of the shell, successfully providing support.
