Red Damselfly - Helmut Berndt

Description

While searching for insects one morning by a local creek, this dew-covered damselfly caught my eye. With the sun now above the horizon, I was able to take advantage of the soft light with a 'starburst' effect reflected in the dew. It doesn't take long for the insects to warm up and they are off!

Winner Open category 2004.
