Reaching Out - Andrew Petralia, Open Category

This anemone seemed to be reaching out to me, pleading to take its picture. The vibrant colours are a nice contrast to the relatively dull background environment and I couldn't resist. Going in for the macro shot, I had to zoom slightly, sacrificing the widest angle lens, but acqiring an image that seems as if it were taken by a fish swimming into imminent death.
