Placing bark cloth fringe

This mask has some bark cloth fringing around the outside of the eyes which has detached in places. To gain access to position the fringe back in the right place, the extremely fragile spongy reed material had to be relaxed and softened. Once the spongy material could be gently shifted out of the way, the fringe was carefully realigned.
