Image: Photos of Vietnamese refugees - 1970s
My significant cultural object is a collection of photos of my parents at refugee camps in Vietnam. One of them is of my dad's family escaping the refugee camp in 1978 on a crowded little boat going to Indonesia with 286 people on it.
