Image: Paranthropus robustus lower jaw side view
Cast of lower jaw SK 23 discovered in Swartkrans, South Africa by Robert Broom. This jaw is one of the best preserved from this area and was found close to the discovery site of the skull SK 48. It is considered to be a female of the same species as SK 48, but is not from that skull.
