Additional information
The expedition spent nearly a week among the Gogodala people, who live in a world of swamps and lagoons on the Aramia River. Despite the mosquitoes, Hurley and McCulloch camped on shore and visited the longhouses of Totani and Uladu villages. In this photo, Hurley and a group of Totani men watch McCulloch prepare a biological specimen for his collection.
