Image: Leaf apron in a humidity chamber
This image shows a leaf apron during humidification. Humidified air is generated from an ultrasonic mister and enters the chamber through a tube connected to the mister. The apron was gradually humidified over a four hour period to slowly introduce moisture into the plant fibres so that it could be gently stretched into shape.
