Image: Large cracks filled and painted
To the left and right of the picture, loose sections were removed and stuck back on, cracks were filled and ‘pretend’ seeds were painted on to blend in with the real ones. It’s a good thing if you can tell which ones are the pretend seeds because it’s important for conservators who may work on this skull in the future to be able find these repairs.
