Image: Kate consolidating a bark painting
Kate prepares this Aboriginal bark painting for loan by ensuring the paint is well stuck down on the bark. A consolidation adhesive is delicately applied to areas where the paint is loose. The adhesive selected to must meet certain conservation standards, and be compatible with the paint. In this case, JunFunori was used as the adhesive.
