I Wayan Ledang

I Wayan Ledang (in glasses) with family members. Ledang was an antiques dealer in Kamasan, in the 1930s he helped Canadian ethnomusicologist Colin McPhee assemble a collection of classical paintings. People in Kamasan looking at this photo in 2010 have commented on the tree in the foreground, which bears a large citrus fruit and recall the story of such fruit being taken by Ledang and others to Ubud in the 1930s to sell to foreign visitors.
