Image: Homo rudolfensis femur
Cast of KNM-ER 1481(a) femur. This fossil was found nearby the Homo rudolfensis skull KNM-ER 1470 and are thought to probably belong to the same species. KNM-ER 1481 consists of a complete left femur, both ends of a left tibia and the lower end of a left fibula (the lower leg bones).
