This small, light boomerang is from the Hunter Valley region of New South Wales, Australia. The wooden boomerang has a right angled curve in the centre. One surface of the boomerang is flat while the other is convex or curves outwards. The boomerang has been varnished producing a smooth, shiny surface. The boomerang was collected by Alexander Morrison in the late 19th or early 20th Century. It was acquired by the Australian Museum in 1982.
