E078175 Boomerang

E078175 boomerang, wood, north Western Australia.

This boomerang is from north Western Australia. The wooden boomerang is crescent shaped and tapers to a point at either end. One surface of the boomerang is flat while the other is convex or curves outwards. The boomerang was collected by Alexander Morrison in the late 19th or early 20th Century. It was acquired by the Australian Museum in 1982.
