E076983 boomerang, wood, western New South Wales, Australia.

This boomerang is from western New South Wales, Australia. The wooden boomerang has a small central curve and tapers to a rounded point at either end. Both surfaces of the boomerang are convex or curve outwards. The boomerang was collected by Alexander Morrison in the late 19th or early 20th Century. It was acquired by the Australian Museum in 1979.
