This boomerang is from the Hunter Valley region of New South Wales, Australia. The wooden boomerang has a deep central curve and tapers to a rounded point at either end. Both surfaces of the boomerang are convex or curve outwards. The boomerang was collected by Alexander Morrison in the late 19th or early 20th Century. It was acquired by the Australian Museum in 1979.
