This boomerang is from the Hunter Valley region of New South Wales, Australia. The wooden boomerang has a right angled curve in the centre and rounded ends. One surface of the boomerang is flat while the other is convex or curves outwards. The boomerang was collected by Alexander Morrison in the late 19th or early 20th Century. It was acquired by the Australian Museum in 1979.
