This wooden club is from south-east Australia. The club has been carved from a single piece of wood. It has a straight handle with a pointed base. The diameter of the handle gradually increases towards the top to form the club's head. The head then tapers to a point. The remnants of white pigment can be seen on the head of the club. The club was collected by Alexander Morrison in the late 19th or early 20th Century. It was acquired by the Australian Museum in 1979.
