Club E047399-007 (front)

This miniature wooden lil-lil (club) is from the Peak Hill region of Central West New South Wales. It is carved from a single piece of wood, with a rounded handle, similar in shape to a boomerang, with a larger striking section. The club is one of eight miniature weapons supposedly made by a local Aboriginal boy from the Bogan River area, Peak Hill. It was donated to the Australian Museum by Mr George Smith.
