Notes

The characters on the right read: ‘Gong Song’ (praise); ‘Da Ying Guo Zhai Da Ren De Zheng’ (Benevolent ruler Mr Zhai for Great Britain). The characters on left read: ‘Zhong Guan Min Pu Hu Ren Deng Tong Bai’ (given by all officials and businessmen). The four central characters read: ‘Qun Qing Gan Dai’ (gratitude and respect).
