Helena Forde (Scott) designed a set of twelve Australian-themed cards, published by Turner and Henderson in 1879 - the first of their kind to be published. Her sister Harriet designed a similar set the following year. Some of the cards included Christmas greetings on the front, but all were postcard formats.
