Bush Stone-curlew

A Bush Stone Curlew is pictured from a close range, standing on the grass. Its white breast is speckled with brown feathers, whilst its back and closed wings are predominantly brown with white stripes and speckles. Its face has a thick brown stripe and a thick white one, whilst is narrow beach is a greyish black. Its long, cream-coloured, twig-like legs are a feature of the animal. Here, the left leg is slightly bent whilst the right is straight. The Curlew has a noticeable yellow eye with black pupil.
