Boomerang E047399-002 (back)

This miniature wooden boomerang is from the Peak Hill region of Central West New South Wales. It is made from a single piece of medium-brown coloured wood, undecorated, with a smooth surface. The boomerang is one of eight miniature weapons supposedly made by a local Aboriginal boy from the Bogan River area, Peak Hill. It was donated to the Australian Museum by Mr George Smith.
