A cartoon from the 'Sydney Punch' draws attention to a discrepancy in the evidence given at the enquiry into the administration of the Museum held in 1874. Several employees erroneously reported that Gerard Krefft had wilfully destroyed the mandible of a fossil Diprotondon which had been sent to a professor in London. Chapter 4. Trustee-ridden.
