Notes

The 9 mm long (standard length) fish was captured in a light trap.  It's ready to settle on a coral reef after having been out in the open water for 2 to 3 weeks.  The fish is now looking for a home on the reef and is about to make the dangerous transition from being a pelagic animal to a reef-associated one.
