Best of Eureka - Working with Dinosaurs - the Wild West of Palaeontology

Grazier David Elliott examines the femur bone of "Matilda" a sauropod he found on his property north east of Winton. Elliott plans to construct a museum on a nearby mesa to house the"Big Lizards". In taking this photo, many of the bones were housed in a locked freight container and as an old beaten up Toyota ute was often used to ferry bones from the dig sites around the property, I thought it would tie in well along with David's trademark hat. I think the photo also illustrates a bit of the "wild West".
