This hand spun, hand-woven, cotton, cloth comes from Nusa Penida Island, east Bali, Indonesia. It is a good example of weft Ikat design, including longitudinal stripes woven into it, made in the 1930s, acquired from Theo Meier in 1938. Size c. 140x80 cm
