Ant mardi gras - Damon Wills, Open 2007

While out in Kuringai National Park a small pile of white feathers caught my attention. On closer inspection I found a troop of ants marching off to their nest, all of them gripping feathers in their mandibles. It seems I stumbled across an ant Mardi Gras.
