Image: Abispa Wasp and Caterpillar - Raoul Slater
An Abispa wasp nested in our television set so we used the opportunity to set up some high-speed flashes and a photo-cell camera trap to photograph it in flight as it brought a caterpillar to its nest. It would have then laid an egg on the paralysed grub.
