Overview

A breakthrough in 3D bioprinting that will revolutionise cancer research, findings that set the future direction for fire management and an Indigenous STEM education program are just some of the projects awarded a 2021 Eureka Prize.

Winners were announced on Thursday 7 October in a live broadcast event, with 17 individuals and teams recognised for contributions across the categories of Research & Innovation, Leadership, Science Engagement and School Science. Their work demonstrates the impact that science has on every facet of our lives, and how Australia’s scientists are producing extraordinary, world-leading results in their respective fields.

Hosted by the inimitable Adam Spencer, the 2021 Australian Museum Eureka Prizes Award Ceremony features individual prize announcements, live winner reactions, panel discussions and many more entertaining moments that are sure to delight.
