Celebrate National Science Week at the 2015 Australian Museum Science Festival. This annual event is an immersive festival with hands-on workshops, science stage shows, exhibition stalls, roving scientists, live animals and more. Family friendly and aimed at instilling a passion for exploration and discovery, the festival is the premier event of National Science Week.
 

Highlights include:

  • Australian Museum Science Festival Expo – meet the folks behind Australia’s top science institutions and organisations
  • Jollybops stage show – explore what energy is and discover how it is transformed with The Jolly Professor and his sidekick Rusty the Robot
  • Winny the Muttaburrasaurus – get up close and personal with a life-sized dinosaur.
  • Australian Wildlife Displays – meet Australia’s native reptiles, birds and mammals
  • Macquarie Interactive Science Experience – explore the chemistry of common household products by making slime and secret ’disappearing messages’
  • Virtual reality ‘Brain Show’ – brought to you by National Geographic.
  • Face painting, giveaways and hands-on activities

Tickets can be booked below and include entry into the Museum and galleries as well as exclusive entry into workshops, shows and the AMSF science expo. Make sure to arrive at your shows on time as spaces are limited and filled on a first-come first-serve basis.
