Abstract
The example illustrates how "partial protection" - equivalent to efficient land use within an area providing some degree of both biodiversity conservation and forestry production - can be integrated with regional-scale efficiency in land-use allocations. The result is a shift in "efficiency frontier" curves in the direction of greater net benefits.
