Document: Engaging Young Adults in Museums: An Audience Research Study

View document

Studies have shown there is a significant gap in museum visiting from the time when youths leave school to when they settle down and have children. It is in the interests of museums to fill this gap and successfully engage the young adult audience.

What are the barriers preventing young adults from attending museums? What do young adults want to experience in a museum?

These are some of the questions that the audience research study "Engaging Young Adults in Museums" aimed to answer.
