This week we are delighted to announce that one of our own has been awarded a high honour. We also welcomed a Brazilian shark researcher.
Senior Research Fellow Dr John Paxton has been honoured by inclusion in the Australian Society for Fish Biology Hall of Fame. This award celebrates John's huge contribution to the knowledge and understanding of Australia's fish fauna. Few people have eighteen species and one genus named in their honour! View more on the ASFB website.
As always we are very grateful for the generosity of the photographers who have allowed their images to be used on the site. Thank you!
