Wildlife Photographer of the Year - winner disqualified
The winner of this year's Wildlife Photographer of the Year competition has been stripped of his prize, after a review of the award by the judging panel.
As we posted here late last year, there has been some controversy over the winning entry 'Storybook Wolf'. The Natural History Museum in London had announced a review of the award early in the new year, and the news is that they have concluded that the winning photo was most likely staged, in contravention of the competition rules. A full statement from the NHM is here.
We're obviously following this one closely, and we'll remove the picture and sort out what changes we need to make in the exhibition currently on show here in consultation with our friends in London. More news as it comes to hand - but if you've come in to see the exhibition, do let us know what you thought by leaving us a comment!
