This week you'll be blown out of the water by the amazing footage of flashlight fishes filmed at night.

The other big news since the last post is that several of us 'fishos' attended the 9th Indo-Pacific Fish Conference in Okinawa, Japan.  This excellent conference attracted over 500 delegates from 36 countries. It was a great week of learning, communicating, catching up with colleagues and meeting new contacts. The highlight was the conferring of the prestigious Bleeker Award for Distinguished Contributions to Indo-Pacific Ichthyology to the Australian Museum's Jeff Leis. Huge congratulations Jeff!
