Australian Museum hosts 2012 AAWHG Wildlife Management Forum
The Australian Aviation Wildlife Hazard Group (AAWHG) Wildlife Management Forum 2012 was hosted by the Australian Museum over two days - Wednesday 5th and Thursday 6th September.
The 2-day Forum presented the latest information and trends in the area of wildlife hazard and strike management from leading stakeholders in the aviation sector.
Relevant and practical presentations were given on a range of topics including case studies from major and regional airports, strike trends, litigation issues in the event of a strike, and the latest on regulation and government policy.
Highlights included a guided Sydney Airport tour and informative workshops.
