Animal Species:Yellowspot Goatfish, Parupeneus indicus (Shaw, 1803)
The Yellowspot Goatfish has a horizontally elongated spot on the upper sides of the body and and a large black spot on the caudal peduncle.
The species grows to 35 cm in length.
The species occurs in tropical waters from the western Indian Ocean to the western Pacific.
