Services for students with disabilities

Information about education programs for students with physical or learning disabilities.

All education programs at the Australian Museum are available to students with physical or learning disabilities. Please discuss your students' specific needs with the Booking Officer when booking the excursion so we can maximised the learning opportunites for them during their visit.

Students with wheelchairs

Students with wheelchairs have access to all Learning Services education programs. There are ramps and two lifts within the Museum for moving between different program locations.

Museum educator-led programs

Our experienced educators will guide students through their sessions.

Self-guided programs

If you require a Museum educator to assist students with their self-guided activities please indicate when booking the excursion. There may be an additional charge for this service.
