Standard Common Name

Piedtip Cucumberfish

Identification

The caudal (tail) fin of the Piedtip Cucumberfish is black with a white band on the upper lobe. The lower lobe has a white tip.

Size range

The largest specimen examined in the original description was 315.4 mm in standard length.
