Learning From Fossils - Stage 6 - Biology
In these educator-led activities students use real fossils and bones to investigate the evolution of Australian biota.
Museum educator-led program
Students use the processes used by Palaeontologists to reconstruct animals from their fossil remains by comparing fossils from extinct Megafauna with bones from their modern-day relatives. They investigate the evolution of the Platypus and explore possible reasons for the extinction of Australian Megafauna.
