Kidspace for pre-schools
Kidspace, the mini museum for under 5s to explore the natural world, can be booked for pre-school excursions.

Kidspace can be booked for pre-school groups (with a minimum of 15 students) to enjoy an hour to themselves. During the session under 5s can actively explore the five 'pods':
- bug pod
- marine pod
- volcano pod
- observation pod
- imagination pod
They can touch real animal skins, fossils, rocks and animal specimens including embedded insects. They can enjoy wall puzzles, make crazy mixed-up animals and peek out of the observation pod for wildlife spotting. The pods are big enough for adults to join in the fun too.
Days and times
Pre-school groups can book a one-hour session in Kidspace on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 10-11am or 12-1pm. Please note that Kidspace is not available on Thursdays for group bookings.

Bookings
Bookings for education groups are essential and should be made through the Bookings Officer.
Cost
$6 per student including general Museum entry.
