Insects

Entomology is the study of insects, which include flies, cicadas, moths, earwigs, fleas, bugs, cockroaches, bees, dragonflies, and termites.

Spiders and their Relatives

Arachnology is the study of arachnids, which include spiders, scorpions, pseudoscorpions, whipspiders, harvestmen, ticks and mites.

Molluscs

Malacology is the study of molluscs, which include chitons, clams, mussels, snails, nudibranchs (sea slugs), tusk shells, octopus and squid.

All other invertebrates

The current focus of the collection is on polychaetes (segmented worms) and crustaceans (lobsters, crayfish, prawns, crabs, seed shrimps, barnacles, slaters and pill bugs).
