Habitat
Eastern Forest Bats roost in hollows of old eucalypts; some individuals roost under loose bark.
Feeding and Diet
Eastern Forest Bats eat small moths, flies and mosquitoes.
Economic/social impacts
Eastern Forest Bats are vulnerable to loss of roost sites in tree hollows and loss of feeding grounds by forestry activities, clearing for agriculture and housing.
