Award Dinner FAQs (Eureka Prizes)
All you need to know about the Dinner.
Where is it held? Sydney Town Hall, 483 George St, Sydney. Information on getting there.
What time should I arrive? Pre-dinner drinks from 6pm. Award proceedings start at 6.45pm sharp. Allow yourself enough time to arrive, collect your name tag, cloak your belongings and determine your table number.
What should I wear? The dress code is black tie. We recommend that you come feeling comfortable and glamorous.
Are tickets still available for purchase? Tickets have now sold out.
Do finalists know in advance that they have won? No.

Will photographs from the night be available? Yes. Shots taken by our professional photographer will be available to download in the days following. We invite you to have your photo taken on the night at the media wall with colleagues, team mates and family members during the breaks.

How many guests will be in attendance? 700 guests representing the who's who of Australian science will be there to celebrate the 2013 finalists and winners.
Will the ceremony be filmed? Highlights from the night will be shown on ABC's Catalyst on Thursday 12 September.
Will there be the opportunity to network? Yes. During the breaks between official proceedings and from dessert onwards.
What times does the Award Dinner conclude? 11pm.
