Why not create an environmental event in your community. These events are a great way to bring your community together and celebrate freshwater health. Here is a list of events throughout the year that you can link to.

  • World Wetland Day 2 February
  • World Water Day 22 March
  • World Environment Day 5 June
  • World Water Monitoring day September
  • National Water Week October

Invite your local council and environmental groups to set up a display, run a workshop or give a talk. Your local school can be a great place to host these events and encourage community and school participation in water monitoring activities.
